it was taking a while for him to go then bam he backed up into me.

Elsewhere, I thought of that but figure it may be cheaper to just get my car fixed. I think I am more angry with the attitude our city cops are displaying to victims on a regular bases. I have heard many complain about the rudness of the cops here.

I picked up my accident report today. The cop has me at fault. Human factor: Inattention. I am also going to call the officer and ask him what the name of the 3rd person was that was in the truck. The blonde headed guy that went to the liqueor store to find (buy) a witness. He was not listed on the report. Also, when I read the names of the driver and passanger the looked familiar. Yesterday I was looking up the court docket for my daughters second custody hearing and saw those names. The girl (story maker upper) is in circuit court the 22nd on trafficing Pot under 8 oz. first offense and her Brother? is in district court the sameday for something deferred / installment payment.
That might explain why they didn't want it reported and they probably where unloading the drugs the whole time. I knew they where behaving rather strange. Now how to prove I was the one hit. The cop mentioned the skid mark in the report but thats all. 1.6 foot skid in front of tire. I need to some how complain that I didn't even get to make a statement. I may have said 20 words. The cop came in assuming I was at fault.

Don't buy a LitterMaid!!
by asleif_dufansdottir inok, this is kind of lame, but if i keep one person from wasting their money.... those of you who don't know about this, there is such a thing as a 'electric cat box' that scoops itself.
it's not that i'm lazy, but i have 3 cats, and i take pride in keeping cat smell down to zero or close to it.
most people actually comment when they come into my house, that they are amazed they can't smell a cat box.

Thanks for the post! I was thinking of getting one of them. I would think you could try and return it to the store for your money back. A product is suppose to hold up to it's intended purpose. They may say you need to return it to the manufacturer, but if its only been a week I would try and make them take it back. They are selling and promoting a product that does not work the way they advertise it to work.
I got a box that I really like. You roll it onto its lid, then roll it back forward. All the clumps are collected in a scoop that you just pull out and dump. Something I just learned from a vet. is that you should have a box for each cat plus one. 3 cats.........4 boxes. I never knew that.

A brain hemorrage

i was having a wonderful lesson on my horse, and the trainer noticed something wrong, and said barb what 's the matter with your face?.
i said i don't know, well he ended the lesson.

Got an estimate today on the damage. $1154 I'm sure he would have liked me to take the $200. I talked to my insurance, they took down the report but said it will all depend on what the police report says. I may be able to pick it up Friday. The lady said it does'nt look good for me though. Did I mention I hate liars?

Thanks everyone.
I will be going to my insurance company today. I took a picture of my car tire & skid mark but it was dark and will probably not show up. (washed out by the flash). I also took a picture of the damage or (lack of) done to the truck so they don't have another wreck and say I caused it. I am really hoping 3 people don't all of a sudden have whiplash this morning. I should have taken pictures of the positions of the cars but I really was not thinking straight at the time. The cops upset me even more. There is snow on the grownd right now so the marks will probably be gone.

every day either on the way to work or coming home i pass people with signs begging on the side of the road.
i'm curious if anyone here gives them money....i have from time to time, i tend to give more to women then men...i suppose i identify more with them...a kind of "under different circumstances that could be me" feeling i get... .

Maybe I'm just feeling alittle beat up right now but I feel I need to defend myself. I made a reply here, it was late, I made it short, I said what I wanted to say, I answered the question. My personal choice was taken away in one sentence. I guess I need to make a list of all the things I give to and do so I won't be uncompassionate or ugly to anyones
eyesheart.This area has banned panhandling because it was so out of control. They were assulting people and being a great nusanse (sp). There were many con people working the area. When there was a ball game at the stadium they were every ten feet. Last time I went I gave to two people.......The guy that sang & played music, and the guy that taught his dog to do tricks. They received but they also gave, if that makes sence. If I would have thought I was going to be on trial, I would have prepared a better defence. But for those who need to know, here goes.
1. At 7years old I brought a sandwich and drink regularly to some old homeless or lonely guy that sat on a bench everyday.
2. I have helped build houses for Habitate for Humanity.
3. I give to Jerry's kids.
4. I always give to the Salvation Army and the Red Cross because they are there in all kinds of disasters.
5. I regularly volunteered for the Ohio River Sweep cleanup and our local Neighbourhood clean ups.
6. I go out with a church and hand out bags of grocerys at the end of the month to people when there money is out.
7. I have stood in line and handed out food for the holidays at the homeless shelter.
8. I have volunteered to work at numerous fund raisers.
9. I walked in marathons to raise money for The March of Dimes.
10. I spent hours at a warehouse packing boxes of donated goods to send to hurracane Hugo victems.
11. I spent many Saturdays cleaning a 104 year old ladys apt. because she liked clean windows and wanted company.
12. I also donate my clothes and things to Goodwill Industries because they supply jobs to people who would not have a easy time getting one and it makes them feel useful to society. They are proud of what they make and the job they do however small it maybe.
13. I gave for years to a blind man who sat out in front of a Walgreens store and played gospel music on a big radio. I did stop doing that when he lost his old seeing eye dog for animal cruelty when he was caught kicking it. Big write up in the paper.
14. I try to make Christmas and Birthdays special for kids because I didn't have that as a kid.
15. I suppose the biggest gift that was given was my first grand baby. An adoption plan was made because it was the best thing for the baby at the time. It also gave a childless couple a chance to be a family. She is now 12 and a wonderful little girl.
I'm sure there is more, but this should be enough for now for those who may feel the need to judge whether I am compassionate or not. I may not always throw a buck at a guy holding a sign but I do give of myself.

Sorry bout your BMW Kat, hope you can find another one you like and can afford.
Carmel, did you win? This is a no fault state. You don't get cited for hitting another car. Back in August someone hit my back end when I was parked on the street. Hit and run. $1700 in damages. No one saw it happen. I went out on Sunday mornings in the area and looked for any white car that had a smashed up passanger side. They left some evidence behind. It took me 3 weeks but I found the car and his insurance paid. I got my deductable back from the insurance co. I should have been a PI.

I Got A Job
by Yizuman instarted last week sunday, sorry for the delay in posting.. the downside is that it's only 3 days a week.
but i'm still continuing to look for a better job.. my landlord moved me to a studio apt which is 300 dollars a month with still all utilties paid.
it's an ok apt, not too shabby.
